The island has over 230km of aqua-blue coastline backed by long white sandy beaches, pretty coves and rocky headland.
First let's review the nearest beaches to Honor Vell and then the best beaches in Mallorca
1.- Port of Soller
Soller is a municipality of Mallorca (Majorca) located in the northeast of the island, down the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, once famous by its orange trees, now a paradise of calm and one the perfect place for visitors to appreciate the other Mallorca, the real one.
You can reach Port of Soller by car (20 minutes) or by train (recomended). Drive down to Bunyola station (5 minutes) and pick the train to Soller (15 minutes) that crosses the unbelievable landscape of The Sierra de Tramuntana. Once in Soller get the electric tram that goes every 30 minutes from Soller to the Port (and both ways).
Por of Soller is a small sandy beach, medium busy but with a high class turism. There are several restaurants in all price ranges.

2.- Cala Deia
Cala de Deia is our pick of the beaches in the Northwest. It's a pebble beach with beautiful clear water and great beach bar sitting on the rocks looking out to sea. Driving directions.
We've picked out our favourite beaches from across the island, which we think offer something a little different and are away from the tourist resorts.
